PDF Cropper

Crop all PDF pages to a specific size with visual selection

About PDF Cropper

Overview

PDF Cropper is a browser-based tool that allows you to crop all pages in a PDF document to a specific size. Upload a PDF, visually select the crop area on a preview of the first page using an interactive draggable and resizable crop box, and the same crop will be applied to all pages. This is perfect for removing margins, headers, footers, or focusing on specific content areas across your entire document. All processing happens locally in your browser for complete privacy.

FAQ

Is my data safe when using PDF Cropper?

Yes, absolutely. All PDF processing happens entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Your files are never uploaded to any server or transmitted over the internet. The cropped PDF is created locally on your device and downloaded directly to your computer.

Does the crop apply to all pages?

Yes, the crop area you select on the preview is applied uniformly to all pages in the PDF. This ensures consistent margins and layout across your entire document. If you need different crops for different pages, use the PDF Organizer tool instead.

Can I undo the crop?

The original PDF file remains unchanged. The tool creates a new cropped PDF file. If you're not happy with the result, you can simply upload the original PDF again and try different crop settings.

How do I get precise crop dimensions?

You can either drag and resize the crop box visually, or use the dimension input fields to enter exact values for width, height, and position. The preview updates in real-time as you adjust the values.

What happens if pages have different sizes?

The crop dimensions are applied to each page independently using the same measurements. If your PDF has pages of different sizes, the crop will be applied relative to each page's dimensions. For best results, use PDFs where all pages are the same size.

How do aspect ratios work?

When you select an aspect ratio (like 16:9 or 4:3), the crop box will maintain those proportions as you resize it. This is useful for creating crops that match specific display sizes or formats. Choose "Free" if you want to resize without any constraints.

Can I rotate different pages by different amounts?

Yes! Each page can be rotated independently in 90° increments. Use the page navigation buttons to move between pages, and use the rotation buttons to rotate each page as needed. The rotation you set for each page will be saved and applied when you crop and download the PDF.
